ABOUT REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is one of the oldest known healing arts, dating back to ancient Egyptian times... some believe dating back as much as 5,500 years.

Reflexology is a natural and safe non-invasive therapy based on reflexes in the body that map to other parts, organs and glands of the body. In fact, there are over 7,200 nerve endings in each of the feet that are interconnected through the spinal cord and brain to all areas of the body.  By applying pressure to the feet, reflexology can relieve stress and tension, improve circulation, and allows the body to re-establish homeostasis or maintain balance. This state facilitates the body's ability to re-balance its self-healing potential.

Reflexology is safe for all ages; from infants to seniors, everyone can benefit.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT

When you arrive I will soak your feet in a herbal scented foot bath while you fill out a general health history,  then we will go over the history and I will answer any questions you may have.

After questions are answered you then get comfortable on the massage table where I will begin to warm up and relax your feet, from there I will begin working on your reflexes.  The session takes anywhere from 45 min to 1 hour.  Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes and pants that can roll to your knees as I work on the calf muscles as well.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR FIRST VISIT

Drink plenty of water to help flush any toxins that may have been released during the session.  You may also want to have an Epsom Salt bath when you get home  to help to draw out toxins further.

Most clients comment how well they sleep that night after a session.
